The fitness equipment is specifically tailored to meet the needs of the elderly. The simple exercise programme mainly focuses on improving stability and flexibility to assist with walking, standing, and grasping and also involves exercises that provide stimulation and work the arms. In addition, there are instruction boards which can be put up in the unsupervised area to help encourage and motivate users. Numerous pieces of fitness equipment can be combined with one another – as “exercise points” along the trail or as “compact exercise space”:
