Just over one year ago, two giant pandas arrived at Edinburgh Zoo in the UK from China as part of the zoo's breeding programme.
The zoo, which already uses Playtop in its koala house, chose the surface due to its cushioned and porous properties. The green surface, which was laid at a thickness of 20mm onto a 40mm base is one of Playtop’s new range of coloured blends incorporating Nike Grind. This new range is made from recycled truck tyres, sports shoes and other rubber products giving it a total recycled content of at least 82%.
Playtop supplies and installs its wet-pour safer surfacing through over 45 licensees around the world. For details of your nearest licensee, visit www.playtop.com
