The bdla will celebrate its 100th anniversary. In her preface, bdla Chairwoman Andrea Gebhard announces “a year replete with events, industry meetings and events for the industry as well as milestones in the public perception” of the trade.
The updated handbook provides information on the bdla by-laws (articles of association, membership by-laws, rules of procedure and dues schedule), the addresses of its about 1,300 members, including experts, and the bdla regional committees. Moreover, training places for landscape architects in Germany are recorded, the international federations of landscape architects IFLA and EFLA as well as important authorities, associations and institutions of national standing.
The 2012-2013 handbook for landscape architects was printed and published by Patzer Verlag, Berlin/ Hanover. The A5 format publication comprises 224 pages and costs 17 euros. It can be ordered online at www.bdla.de/seite48.htm.
