“De Holle Poarten”, a wilderness in Holland

What has been created is an adventure park which is “real”, at least for children, and also brings fantasy worlds closer to adults. The Bergmann Creative Wood Design now has over 20 years’ experience in dealing with quite special situations. 20 years with hundreds of one-off solutions. The more nature was present the better!

Based on these approaches a great number of projects developed, e.g. one which was implemented in 2009 in the middle of an overgrown wilderness of an island in Holland. This was “De Holle Poarten”, the name of the park, where the guests are able to experience an adventure island on which castaways have found their refuge. Only those who dare negotiate the narrow steps in the water are able to discover the secrets of the island.

Paths lead the intrepid explorers through the luxuriant jungle to the other side of the island. Shipwreck, castaway raft, campfire hearth, a fisherman’s hut with ornamental fountains, and a tree house are provided for hiding and climbing.
Here we are all left to our imagination. Such places are the stuff of dreams, here you can escape everyday life and disappear into dream worlds…
