Snug brings play to extraordinary London development

Photo

Lose parts play kit Snug has been launched at King’s Cross, one of the largest development sites in London. The 67 acre development is creating up to 50 new and refurbished buildings, 2,000 new homes, 20 new streets and 26 acres of public space. The area benefits from a lively and diverse arts and events programme that enlivens the existing public spaces. Snug, the colourful, durable and intriguingly-shaped equipment which is manufactured by Sutcliffe Play and designed by Snug & Outdoor, is located near the development’s sports pitch. Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 10am and 4pm, children are invited to ‘roll,
tumble, crash and land’ with the equipment. “King’s Cross has been designed as a safe, fun and interesting development which is open and accessible to all,” says Anna Strongman for the King’s Cross Central Limited Partnership. “Snug fits in perfectly. It can be rearranged by children as they wish to create imaginative shapes or obstacle courses, and it enables children of all ages and abilities to play together.”
“We’re delighted that Snug is being enjoyed at such an extraordinary new area of London,” adds Hattie Coppard, Director of Snug &Outdoor. “Children are positively welcomed
here and it’s a great place for children to build
