7. Osnabruck Convention “Moved Childhood”

There is an appealing agenda lined up once again, which promises a successful mix of theory and practice:
In over 150 individual events at the convention, renowned contributors will get to grips with the educational opportunities presented in exercise, play and sport. At the forefront of these will be current topics such as “promotion of development of children under the age of three,” “language learning through exercise,” and “movement learning”.

New academic knowledge in the field of early childhood development, neuroscience, developmental psychology and sports science will be presented in lectures, while seminars and workshops will host numerous stimuli for the creation of fitness activities for children. The convention is being organised by the Sports Science faculty at the University of Osnabruck in co-operation with the Lower Saxony Institute for Early Childhood Education and Development, with sport associations and accident insurance companies.
