Balance, climb and scramble all in one - Pick Up Sticks brings a quirky climbing challenge to the playground with its randomly placed twisted timber logs and rope structures – a great product for kids aged 8 upwards to practice their balancing, climbing, swinging and scrambling skills. Using pressure treated timber and steel-reinforced rope, these intricately designed units can be purchased in two different heights. With an emphasis on the natural look to the product, Pick Up Sticks add an extra adventurous feel to a play area.
Zipping along in the fresh air - To complement the Pick Up Sticks, Wicksteed’s exciting and daring Cableways add a heightened thrill to swinging! There’s nothing more exhilarating than whizzing along on a zipwire and they have proved to be one of the top favourite items on a community’s play area wish list. Appealing to the older age group in particular, they can also be used by the younger kids – as long as they can accept the challenge! The Cableways are available as all galvanised steel or as a mixture, using pressure treated timber posts with galvanised top bars. Deceleration buffers are fitted at each end and the rubber button safety seats make it easy to hop on and off. Adventures on high - Wicksteed’s Tree House is a huge timber centerpiece to enhance any natural play area. Complete with tube slide, climbing nets, lookout platforms and trapezes rings, this impressive structure is proving to be extremely popular. From the top of the high-flying lookout platform right down to the end of the wide-mouthed tube slide, kids can enjoy so many play experiences. Their imaginations are fired as they envisage storybook worlds and act out their own adventures within this great structure.
