Ziegler Spielplätze von A bis Z (“Playgrounds from A to Z”) – stories made of robinia wood

Photo

However, as simple as this may sound – there is more to it than meets the eye for every design by the company Ziegler Spielplätze von A bis Z (“Playgrounds from A to Z”) requires a great amount of sensitivity and fine feeling. Every day, numerous highly motivated employees, like for example product designers, wood carvers or design engineers, see to the detailed design of creative and innovative playground equipment made of robinia heartwood with utmost commitment, great expertise and extensive experience.
The company attaches particular importance to two self-imposed requirements being met: on the one hand, to keeping the natural shape of the robinia heartwood (with the sapwood being removed) and thus a near-natural overall design; on the other hand, to the detailed realization of specific customer requests. Unique and individual projects which sometimes also tell a story, are the most wonderful and greatest challenges.
A day-care centre, for example, had a very special way of thanking the local fire brigade, which had supported it for years by making small donations. The large fire brigade made of robinia wood, which has given the children there great pleasure since mid-November, is an individual project that arose from a special story and that became a matter close to the hearts of all those involved. The Ziegler Spielplätze von A bis Z company implements individual theme playgrounds.
In the truest sense of the word, it naturally keeps up with cutting-edge trends and latest developments. Apart from individual projects, water play combinations, climbing walls, inclusive designs or “energy” playground equipment such as “Photovoltaics” reflect the product range’s diversity. Thanks to top quality, safe designs, a very high play value, eco-friendliness and naturalness, the company has now made of itself throughout Europe. Cross-generation playgrounds and senior citizens’ playgrounds will increasingly also be considered to be built soon.
All play structures are manufactured in compliance with the DIN EN 1176 standard. With colour designs, only non-toxic, sweat- and saliva-resistant glazes are used. (www.ziegler-spielplatz.de)
