For animal lovers: art and play objects for petting

Their slightly abstract design and subtle colouring create a soft and friendly atmosphere that encourages children to engage in quiet play. The sculptures particularly target children in day nurseries to primary school. The children climb or sit on the animals, touch them and nestle against them. Moreover, the sculptures give every place a very special, strong and unmistakable identity. This holds true for day nurseries, kindergartens and treatment institutions as well as for schools, pedestrian precincts or urban spaces. Depending on the theme, the attractive “stroking stones” are up to 90 centimetres high. Whereas the small cat weighs “only” 75 kilograms and is delivered with a foundation iron, the sitting bear weighs about 580 kilos: a heavyweight that can easily be installed using lifting equipment!
Apart from the sculptures created by Danish artist and sculptor Lissy Boesen, Richter Spielgeräte GmbH offers a great variety of other animal-themed play equipment – ranging from the Swinging Horse and the Snail Queen to the wooden Wobbly Sheep. The experts from Frasdorf have put together an attractive selection of play equipment specifically tailored for small children from their comprehensive range of equipment and compiled it in a 144-page special edition catalogue titled “Child and Play”…
