German global market leader – New award for Berliner Seilfabrik
In January 2011, the “Encyclopedia of German Global Market Leaders”, which also lists Berliner Seilfabrik, was presented to the public. This book identifies 800 companies which are market leaders in their particular market segment. Among others, successful small and medium-sized enterprises that manufacture high-quality products, distinguish themselves by their inventiveness and have a very high export share were selected. They are hence among the “hidden champions”. With this award, Berliner Seilfabrik joins the ranks of such well-known companies as Siemens, Bosch, Adidas, WMF or Osram.
