For the sake of the environment: play equipment made from recycled

Photo

However, since 2001 Westfalia Spielgeräte GmbH has dedicated itself to a new, brilliant idea: play equipment made from recycled plastic. After a two-year development phase, Westfalia launched the new, convincing line of products made from the innovative material and quickly broke into the market. The company, which has been based in Hövelhof since 1995 and which – as the originator of the idea – is still market leader in this field, estimates that play equipment made from recycled plastic now accounts for 80% of its shares.
By using recycled plastics, it is possible to make almost each and every child’s wish come true: The extensive product range of Westfalia Spielgeräte GmbH includes large multi-play units, sand play areas, climbing frames, swings, playhouses and much more. The variety of individual design options ensures that there is something for every child – no matter how young or old. Great fun is guaranteed even for very young children under the age of 3. Back in 2007, Westfalia acted foresightedly by launching the “Westolino” product line with play equipment suitable for children under the age of 3, which conforms with the act on day care for children (Kinderbildungsgesetz „KiBiz“), which came into force in August 2008.
