Fun for the whole family by going on the merry-go-round

Photo

The merry-go-round is 3.00 metres in diameter. Its ground-level platform is made of anti-slip, low-maintenance aluminium stud plate. Round, colour-coated steel posts form an octagon, support the roof and at the same time enable the riders to turn the merry-go-round just as two semicircular tube hand-rails do. The axis of the merry-go-round ends in a special ball bearing. This ball bearing enables even toddlers to easily turn the merry-go-round from outside.
The octagonal, cone-shaped aluminium roof has a stainless steel substructure and is also colour-coated.
The seats made of coloured, weatherproof plastic sheet are installed at three different heights: 35 cm, 40 cm and 50 cm above the upper edge of the merry-go-round platform.
The merry-go-round’s two generously dimensioned entries or exits facing each other allow easy access for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
Concept + design: State capital of Wiesbaden, Amt für Grünflächen, Landwirtschaft und Forsten (Parks, Agriculture and Forestry Department); Planning, technical preparation + implementation: Kinderland Emsland Spielgeräte, telephone no. 05937 971890.
