A natural play experience

The fabulous new play area in St Louis Meadow really does have something for everyone.

Photo

The landscape-led design, installed by Wicksteed Playscapes with playbuilder funding for Banbury Town Council, incorporates a huge array of exciting timber play products - enhancing the park’s natural environment to the max.
The ultimate design of this terrific new play area demonstrates perfectly the strict design principles set out by playbuilder guidelines and has totally transformed the original site.
The natural surroundings of the site, including steep slopes and a surrounding canopy of trees were utilised to great effect and Wicksteed’s creative design team incorporated exciting play features such as bank slides and various climbing access and fitness trails into the playscape.
The equipment from Wicksteed’s tactile timber range, including the Nest and the Cradle Swings, Pick Up Sticks and Fitness Trails sit beautifully in the natural setting.
