Snug… Born in the USA

Photo

CCM’s purchase of the SNUG kit is the first in the USA.

Snug has already proved successful in Eureka, a UK children’s museum and now Chicago Children’s Museum is using the kit as part of their mission to create a community where play and learning connect. The museum's primary audience is children from birth to age 10 and their families, and school and community groups that support and influence children's growth and development.
A desire to increase opportunities for children’s physical activity in the museum led to the introduction of the MOVE exhibit. Using Snug, Move was designed to inspire movement, physical activity and teamwork and develop children’s fine and gross motor activity, whilst encouraging dramatic play and language skills.
Louise Belmont Skinner, Vice President of Exhibits for the Chicago Children’s Museum said, “The Move exhibit using Snug is proving to be a big success with our visitors.
“We chose Snug after our research sessions indicated that the need for an interactive, inclusive and educational exhibit within the museum, Snug clearly fit the bill.” For further details on SNUG visit www.snugplay.co.uk
