US Americans trust in play equipment manufactured in Geeste/Dalum

The Kinderland Emsland Spielgeräte company delivers 950,000 euros’ worth of play equipment for seven playgrounds in residential areas owned by the US Army in Wiesbaden.

Besides four toddler playgrounds with balance equipment, swings and spring rockers, three multi-purpose playgrounds will be built there. ‘In addition to common equipment, the “tepees” designed by Kinderland Emsland Spielgeräte provide a highly stimulating and imaginative environment for children,’ Kinderland’s Managing Director Mario Hampel is convinced. Ensuring compliance with both the European safety standard EN 1176 and the U.S. ASTM standard for play equipment presented a special challenge. ‘Both standards could easily be met,’ Mr Hampel was delighted. Using three heavy-duty transporters provided by the Meppen-based Többe haulage company, the over 11 metre high large objects were transported to Wiesbaden without any problems.
The Kinderland Emsland Spielgeräte company headquartered in Geeste/Dalum manufactures playground equipment ranging from swings to themed play structures for large leisure parks. According to Managing Director Wolfgang Strunkeit, great attention is paid to strict adherence to the most exacting quality, safety and environmental standards. The Emsland-based company delivers its products to customers throughout Germany and Europe. (www.emsland-spielgeraete.de)
