Euro Attractions Show 2012. Berlin, Germany 9 – 11 October 2012. Premier conference and trade show for the attractions industry in Europe.
Education sessions at the EAS conference programme will cover the core issues of attractions operations, including: new technologies, Halloween events, emerging markets, food and beverage trends, sustainability, social media, safety, waterparks, and family entertainment centers (FECs) with presentations from European industry leaders. The event will also feature exclusive behind-the-scenes tours at local attractions includingTropical Islands and Filmpark Babelsberg. Unique networking events are also planned throughout the week to help attendees make meaningful firsthand connections within the industry.
9-11 October, 2012. The trade show floor will be open from 11.00 -18.00 on 9 and 10 October and from 11.00 to 16.00 on 11 October. The conference programme will take place 9 and 10 October and a special FEC/Indoor playground programme day is set for 11 October. The IAAPA Institute for Attraction Managers, a three-day programme for emerging leaders in the industry, will take place from 7 to 9 October 2012.
Messe Berlin, Berlin, Germany – The Messe Berlin, which is one of the premier exhibition centers in Central Europe, will host EAS 2012. Situated on the edge of Germany’s capital city, Messe Berlin is located near many hotels and restaurants, with easy connections to the S-Bahn and the U-Bahn making it highly accessible to the center of Berlin and the new airport, which will open in June 2012.
EAS organizers anticipate more than 7,000 attractions industry professionals from theme parks, waterparks, zoos, aquariums, museums, family entertainment centers, casinos, and resorts will participate in the event. In the exhibit hall, more than 350 companies from 80 countries will showcase innovative products and services in more than 100 categories, including amusement and theme park rides; architectural and design services; coin-operated games, skill games, and redemption prizes; theatrical productions; and maintenance services and equipment.
The Euro Attractions Show (EAS) is owned and produced by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), and has evolved into Europe’s largest trade fair dedicated to the attractions industry. EAS is managed by IAAPA’s European operations, under the direction of the IAAPA Europe Advisory Committee and the IAAPA Europe Manufacturers and Suppliers Sub-Committee.
