The complete product range for the design, construction and maintenance of gardens, parks and green spaces will be exhibited in twelve halls. Around 50 per cent of exhibitors will present construction and maintenance machinery, about 30 per cent will offer building materials, and the remaining 20 per cent will cover special products like playground equipment, street furniture, or the golf course construction and maintenance segment.
The specialist visitors will mainly comprise landscape gardeners (around 50 per cent), clients from cities and municipalities (around 20 per cent), landscape architects (around 10 per cent), as well as representatives from the domestic housing market, schools, green-keepers, golf course managers and operators, campsite operators, and construction companies. “The preparations for the trade fair are going on fine. We will probably be able to report a new record number of exhibitors in September. The trend is clearly towards larger exhibition stands. Especially in the field of construction and maintenance machinery, but also with building materials, we are seeing floor growth. In order to accommodate the exhibitors’ wishes we will additionally occupy hall 3”, says Stefan Dittrich, GaLaBau Exhibition Manager of GaLaBau. “We are especially pleased that more and more exhibitors from foreign countries come to Nuremberg, making the trade fair even more international”, Dittrich continues.

Topflex Playground: Seamless fall-protection surface from Becker Sportanlagen – for improved playground safety!
Using their experience in construction of plastic surfaces for playing fields and running tracks, the Becker Sportanlagen company has developed a fall-protection surface which provides a new dimension of safety on children's playing grounds and other areas where impact and shock absorbance is required.
The most important properties of Topflex Playground are:
Excellent impact-absorbing properties. Environmental compatibility through permeability (no sealing of the ground surface). Optically attractive appearance. Minimum maintenance costs
Topflex Playground - A permeable 2-layer fall-protection floor covering made of rubber granules for use on playground floors.
The scatter-coated laminated flooring is made up of a base layer and a top layer made of fully coloured EPDM granules. The selected corn size and the level surface of the flooring provide the basis for optimum resilience.
Topflex Playground is installed manually on site by expert workers to create a seamless floor covering.
Any loose supporting layer is sufficient as substrate, but bituminous or cement-bound substrates are also suitable.
Colouring can be chosen individually from a wide range of colours – any mixture of shades is possible.
The thickness of the basis layer is decided on according to the individual requirements – in this way, the impact absorbance can be oriented accurately according to possible fall heights.
Maintenance is minimal – regular changing of the impact absorbance material is eliminated.
No deterioration of the surface occurs in heavily used areas – the surface always remains level.
Only environmentally compatible materials are used – there are no detrimental effects on users and the environment.
Topflex Playground has been approved as suitable for its intended use by an independent testing institute according to DIN EN 1177. This provides you with certainty of having playground flooring which corresponds to the current state of art.
