The historic Steinplatz (stone square) in Leipzig was restored and re-designed.
The innovative design of a landmarked playground and ornamental square in Leipzig was awarded two prizes. The successful addition of modern facilities for playing and recreation sets standards in dealing with user-intensive, historical grounds in the town.

PlayFair 2012 - Celebrating Five Years of Play

The first PlayFair was held in 2008 in order to provide a platform for API members to promote their products directly to communities and schools. It has not taken long for the reputation of PlayFair to grow over the years, with increasing numbers of visitors attending at every show.

Adventure playground at Phoenix-See city lake

At today‘s Phoenix-See city lake in Dortmund where once stood the former steel works, Phoenix Ost, an area measuring 94 hectares – the re-natured river Emscher is now flowing again and you will find a lake measuring 24 hectares. Housing developments have been being built around the lake since 2011.

Not such a long time ago, disabled sport very little notice was taken of disabled (or adaptive) sport by the public. Even the Paralympics were given limited coverage by the media – the only disabled athletes shown were wheelchair racers showing the excellent performances of which they are capable before the marathon event.
